This time I want to talk about the latest trip….
    trip to shriwardhan and harihareshwar………..
This was the baap of all trips for these reasons…
    1. you might not find people as crazy as us… me, deepabli, sohan and ataullah.
    2. in rainy season when rain is pouring we decided to travel through the night on our bikes. ahem…
    3. driving through the ghats through the night was not a new experience to me but this one was.. so much that it was fun and scary at the same time…

    the plot unfolds………….
me deepa and sohan were munching around at burger king and thinking where to go for this sunday.
deepa suggested that we do something different instead of the usual trekking and i suggested we could go to a beach.
    now the plot thickens..
so beach was decided but if we had to enjoy the water then we should be leaving early….
early was good and then came the crazy part…. why early we can ride through the night was my crazy suggestion, when one crazy meets the other sparks fly… this idea was absorbed so fast that in 5 mins we were ready to leave and start to collect things required for the trip….
then came the thinking part…i decided that we start by 2 so that we reach by early morning else we would reach the place and it would still be dark.
so we started.. humpty dumpty i.e. sohan and deepa were on a bike and humpty dumpty had a great fall in pune off the bike…
both were shocked but were acting brave…. and their braveness will be put to test further… till mulshi there was no problem, roads were nice & the visibility was good… things were going smooth and then the ghats started, the visibility started to reduce still it was ok…
and then the fog surrounded us the visibility was less than 5ft. god we could not see the road we were all drenched…..
me and atta were on the lead bike trying to figure out where is the road… i was looking for the left edge of the road and atta was looking out for the right edge of the road and i was trying to keep the bike in between those two edges…. it was terrifying, scary and strangely funny. and we rode on like this for about hour and fourty mins mostly in second gear. somewhere we took a break and an car passed us, it was a funny sight for us…. it used to go ahead for few feet and stop for something and repeat the process and we were laughing at them and talking if the person would walk he’d be faster than the car.
after about 35 Km and hour and 40 mins later we came to mangaon and later proceeded to harihareshwar….
the beach was fantastic as we jumped in the sea as we reached…. played around till we were tired but deepa was not.. she was on her own enjoying the sea like we did not exist.. sometimes she’d realize and would come and play with us.
we had to pull her out of the sea so that we could have lunch.

lunch was interesting as me and deepa had a very hot ‘discussion’ with sohan and atta adding valuable points, and i’m still awaiting results …

once lunch was finished it was time we had to come home….
and then we started the trip back home and this time we could ‘see’ the road we were on….
all of us were enjoying the sights that engulfed us we had breaks on the ghats so that we could soak these sights.

we reached home by about 9:30 pm and that was the end of the day for us….
so guys what say about the trip????

    Wow……
What a thrilling trip to be remembered man!
As I documented in my blog (http://sohandhande.wordpress.com), it was the most horrible trip of my life…
I wont forget tht night ride….. scary fog, heavy rains, clouds, those hilly dropdowns…..
But the whole experience was quite amazing.
Both the beaches were awesome :)

In all, we must cherish this trip ever……..

    Go Trekking!!!

    Regards,
    Sohan Dhande
